Rarely does one walk into Gleebooks (anywhere) & come out empty handed
Fantastic bookshop with lots of interesting niche subjects and titles that you won't find in larger bookstores or would even have a hard time stumbling upon while looking for books online. Highly recommended place to stop when in Blackheath, whether looking for a book to visit on the coffee table, or one to dive deep into. They will also order a title or transfer it from another store if they don't have it there.
Outstanding service - asked for an out of print book which was not in stock.The chap from the 2nd hand shop said - not available, so I left. The man (whose name I don't know) then continued his research , and found me drinking coffee some time later outside, excited that he had found my book.He offered to import from the US ...and the book turned up todayGo to this shop.Buy books!This sort of service deserves patronageMichael

Purchased a few great books here during my stay. A very nice selection, from new releases to beautifully bound classics. Also, they have a second part to the shop further into the arcade that sells used books so make sure to check that part out too. One can never have too many books!
