Beautiful room with a real wood fire and a spa, clean and secluded amongst the flowers and trees if the beautiful garden. Everything for us to make a fantastic breakfast was supplied daily (including fresh eggs, and home baked bread!). The staff were very helpful and attentive. We couldn't have asked for more.
We stayed in Cresent Loft..beautiful and cosy.. See, was very accommodating with her homemade fresh bread and heaps of food...very friendly. and the option for a late checkout...it was lovely to walk into a warm fireplace lit after a cold day in the snow.. thank you.
Wish we could have cancelled our plans, but the cancellation policy is way too strict. After minutes of booking we knew we now had to ensure we were free this weekend. Booked 2 nights in the spacious Chauffauers suite but only managed to stay one. The place is comfortable but not suited for the couples looking for a romantic getaway which is centrally located or have a good view out of any window. The Chauffauers Suites bedroom is a thin wall from the ajoining loft cottage. This proximity puts you back in the appartments of Sydney after seeking a secluded country retreat for the two of us. The bedroom is a long cold dash to the bathroom which had a cold skylight and no heating. There is one sitting room on the way after a scary set of stairs.
Excellent B&B! Seenuan was a very gracious host and it seemed like nothing was too much trouble. The location is quiet, though a good 20 minutes walk to the village centre. Many key sites of interest are close by, including the Three Sisters, Govett's Leap and so on. We only stayed one night, but we'd rather have had the opportunity to stay much longer. The room we stayed in was designated the Maid's Room. The room is quaint but very well equipped, with a comfortable large double bed, a sofa, a kitchenette with fridge, a microwave and hob. The en suite bathroom included a spa bath and separate shower. We were loaned a couple of good bicycles (and the mandatory crash helmets) a went for a pootle along the road to the spectacular Evans Lookout. (It was so good we drove along later to watch the sunset there.)In the morning we made a super breakfast using the ingredients Seenuan had left in the fridge and ate it outside on the picnic table provided, accompanied by the local parrots and magpies! So if you are looking for a lovely peaceful place to use as a base to explore the Blue Mountains, this is the place to go! Strongly recommended.
Friendly and helpful hosts. Excellent service. Cosy room, bonus of wildfire and spa bath! Great breakfast with homemade bread! Fantastic experience in the Mountains! Can't get any better :)
