Beautiful Rhodedendrons trees throughout garden, mixed with vibrant colours of azaleas. Well worth the trip! A tea house attached with amazing scones served by friendly elderly ladies
Lovely gardens to visit each year when the Rhododendrons are flowering. This year the flowers were as beautiful as ever but the dam was nearly empty and because of the drought and the show of flowers was a little less than normal. Possibly because of the drought.
This is a lovely place to visit all year round. The mix of exotics and bush is special and it's been designed and developed with a great deal of thought, care and hard work. It doesn't have the typical faults of Council parks and gardens and it's a tribute to the community spirit in the town.It has a special magic at dusk, you may have it to yourself and it's a superbly peaceful place to be.
