Plenty of choices in sandwiches burgers and breads. Good sitting arrangements. Nice decor. Open surroundings, quick service and good food. Good pocket friendly price range.
Excellent cafeYou can't go past eating here if you are in the Blue Mountains/Blackheath.The sandwich Bar offer some of the best sandwiches you can buy. Favourites being the satay chicken and turkey on Turkish bread. You can order breakfast or lunch here burger etc.
Wonderful find after giving pub over the road a swerve (busload ambling in slowly in front of us). Had lovely lunch including salmon and capers sandwich and Mexican burger - fresh, generous portions at very reasonable prices. Couldnt recommend highly enough.
Easy to get to location, near the main highway (turn left at the lights). Parking and public bathrooms also available very close to cafe (i would call this place more of a cafe then a deli?). Dropped in here before a bush walk and was a bit disappointed - the breakfast menu seemed ok. But when i asked to have my scrambled eggs with cheese as well it seemed like i really threw a spanner in the works (really it was only cheese?) after getting through this - me: you can just put a slice on if you don't have shredded? - You know, just before the egg? - i paid extra and when my meal came out - no cheese. As we were on a schedule, i just ate what i was given, which wasn't great - huge serving, no sauce and a handful of rocket leaves on the side? (no dressing?). The meal was fine, something i would cook myself, but disappointing because i did expect something a bit better.
We thoroughly enjoyed our fresh, tasty sandwiches, there is quite a choice, our Canadian friends were very happy with their selection - Mexican burger, & Vietnamese sandwich. The satay chicken and turkey were also very good. The coffee was great and the staff were very pleasant.
